Recently our 4th grade students from HLA, West, Heights, and Jefferson traveled to Hope College's Jack Miller Auditorium to perform with many other area 4th grade students in the first year of the Holland Symphony's Link-Up Program. This unique concert is a program of Carnegie Hall's Weill Music Institute which partners with locals orchestras, schools, and communities to expose students to a live orchestra while incorporating fundamental music skills through a year long curriculum. Students were able to experience singing and playing their recorder along with the Holland Symphony. Many thanks to the Holland Education Foundation for their assistance with transportation and their support to offer this unique experience to all our Holland 4th graders!
