Hi. I am Sophie Accardo. I am in Spanish 5. I would like to share this with you. 
​I had the privilege to experience the Spanish culture by traveling to Peru. It was the best experience I've ever had. I got use the skills I learned in class. I got to talk to the natives. Spanish is their second language. Their food was interesting but delicious. I was able to experience how they live their life every day. Many of the girls from the villages said that they want to visit America one day. I learned a lot from them. I was so happy that I was able to communicate with them.

Tuve el privilegio de experimentar la cultura hispana viajando a Perú. Era la mejor experiencia que he tenido. Conseguí usar las habilidades que aprendí en clase. Hablé con los nativos. Español es su segunda lengua porque su primera es quechua. Su comida era interesante pero deliciosa. He podido experimentar cómo viven su vida cada día. Muchas de las chicas del pueblo dijeron que quieren visitar América un día. Había aprendido mucho de ellos. Estaba tan contenta que yo era capaz de comunicarme con ellos.
