Seventh graders of Holland Language Academy were recently honored as the first graduates of the Two-Way Bilingual Immersion (TWBI) program during a ceremony at the school on May 31.

Students were presented a special key from 7th grade teacher Terry Gartelman-Gonzalez to wear around their necks as a gift for their years in the TWBI program. Also in attendance was their Kindergarten/1st Grade teacher Jean Schroeder, who founded the TWBI program at Holland West K-7 in 2009.
