After ending their 55-game losing streak earlier this month, the Holland High School Girls Varsity Basketball team has their first winning streak since the 2012-13 season. On Dec. 28, the Lady Dutch defeated South Haven, 41-36 to advance to the finals of the Holland Holiday Hoops Tournament. On Dec. 29, the team defeated Portland, 44-42, securing the tournament championship.

The Lady Dutch will play against city-rival Holland Christian on Jan. 6, 2017 at the Holland Civic Center at 7:30 p.m. (boys play at 6 p.m.).
