With wife Shirley on his left and AD Ben Farkas & HHS tennis coach Kevin O'Keefe on his right, former Holland High teacher, coach, and athletic director Dwayne "Tiger" Teusink expressed appreciation for an honor he received at noon on Saturday, Sept. 24.

Tiger has been in leader in the development of youth tennis programs for nearly 5 decades. He's earned many local, state, and national awards for his commitment to tennis, his students, and his success as a coach.

Spectacular weather added to the excitement of the official renaming of Holland HIgh's tennis courts to "Tiger Teusink Tennis Courts" and the enveiling the new archway.

Tiger thanked the School Board, Superintendent Davis, the HPS school family, and the entire community. "I loved teaching," he said. "And that's why I loved coaching."
