Holland High School students of Dan Telegenhof's Advanced Placement U.S. Government and Politics classes had the oppurtunity to serve as the judge, prosecutors, defense attorneys, jurors, bailiffs, court reporters and everyone else in a full-day mock trial at Ottawa County's 58th District Court in Holland, May 26. The exercise, a condensed version of a fictional case put together for law students, was to help inform them of a criminal trial procedure. See the attached article for more info.
