Starting on April 21st and running through April 24th, Holland High Theatre will present the 1920's rip roarin', Charleston loving, football oriented, high octane comedy "GOOD NEWS!" Featuring songs like "The Varsity Drag" and "Keep your Sunnyside Up!", this show combines dance, song and comedy into an enjoyable evening. "Good News" will highlight the newer members of our theatre family, as the cast is composed of only 8th, 9th and 10th graders! In May, Holland High Theatre will present "THE MARVELOUS WONDERETTES"...this smash hit takes you to the 1958 Springfield High School prom where we meet Betty Jean, Cindy Lou, Missy, and Suzy, four girls with hopes and dreams as big as their crinoline skirts! As we learn about their lives and loves the girls serenade us with classic ‘50s hits including “Lollipop,” “Dream Lover,” “Stupid Cupid,” and “Lipstick on Your Collar.” In act two, the Wonderettes reunite to take the stage and perform at their ten-year reunion. The Marvelous Wonderettes will keep you smiling in this must-take musical trip down memory lane! The show runs May 6, 7, and 12th at 7:00 p.m. This great show will also be part of the Tulip TIme Festival, performing 3 more times, on May 13,14 and 15th (tickets for those 3 shows available only through Tulip Time).
