On Friday, March 25, State Superintendent Brian Whiston visited Holland West to see the bilingual immersion classroom and early literacy classrooms, Holland High for advance placement classes, special ed classes, performing arts center and the Virtual Tech High School. He concluded with a visit to Holland Early College. Holland Early College juniors Sanjuana Luna and Annika Carlson and senior Juwan Phipps spoke at length with the state superintendent about their appreciation to have the opportunity to get an early start on college.
