The HHS Marching Band brushed a few snowflakes off their wooden shoes and caps before entering the Holland Civic Center to perform their signature "TipToe Through The Tulips" for the opening luncheon of the Michigan Downtown Association conference. Although unusual to be seeing the rock kicks, brush kicks, and dips being done at this time of the year, performing "TipToe" when the snow is flying rather than the tulips blooming is not completely unheard of. The HHS Marching Dutchmen have previously performed this well-known routine and tune in the Detroit Thanksgiving Day Parade as well as during the annual Tulip Time Parades in Holland when weather conditions aren't necessarily so spring-like.
