HHS Marching Band Has A Winning Season!

The 2019 marching band season is one that will live on in the Holland High School Marching Band members' memories for a long time to come. On Tuesday, October 8th, the HHS Marching Band received a Division 1 Superior Rating for their "Empowered" marching show performance at the Michigan School Band & Orchestra's District 10 Marching Band Festival hosted at Zeeland East High School. In addition, this season is one of particular significance, as it is the first time in the band's history its members participated in a Scholastic Competitive Marching Band Invitational. Not settling for just participating, the Holland High School Marching Band competed at the Allendale Falcon Scholastic Invitational on Saturday, October 12th and took home 1st place in Class A along with caption awards in both Music and Marching! Congratulations to all the students and staff of the HHS Marching Band for all their hard work and dedication this marching season! Onward and upward, HHS Marching Dutchmen!
