The 6th, 7th, and 8th grade HMS Bands put a cap on an extremely successful concert season and ushered in Tulip Time with their festive spring concert on Monday, April 29th. From the HMS 6th Grade Band's performance of the well-known "Jurassic Park" to "Ancient Moon," that earned the 7th Grade Band a Division 1 Superior Rating at MSBOA District 10 Concert Festival, to "Idyllwild Fantasy" that allowed the 8th Grade Band to show off their extensive musical growth and maturity throughout the year, there was something to please every audience member. The evening was topped off by a sneak peak of what the HMS Combined 7th/8th Grade Band would showcase in the annual Tulip Time Parades and they did not disappoint! Salt-N-Pepa's "Push It" as well as a percussion cadence composed by HHS alum and percussionist, Kevin DePree, brought down the house!
