Two Holland Middle School students have advanced to the next round in the National History Day competition. Ava Wall and Kaleb Duch, both 8th graders from HMS will be competing at the state level after a great showing at the regional competition at GVSU this past weekend. Their website about Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge will be competing on April 27 in Bay City, MI to determine if they will advance to the national competition in Washington D.C. this summer.
